Professor Mintzberg questions the wisdom of trying to marry such disparate systems 鈥 after all, business has a very simple, measureable yardstick in the form of profit, which makes it a poor model for governing.

MBA no guarantee of long-term success

Three separate studies, including one authored in part by Desautels Professor Henry Mintzberg, have concluded that the MBA is not the gateway to business success after all 鈥 findings that are at odds with what many in the business community have come to believe.
