Changes to IT Services equipment loans 鈥� What you need to know.
绿帽社鈥檚 IT Services equipment loans will be reduced to better reflect current needs and available resources. Starting August 18, 2025, only a limited selection of commonly borrowed equipment will remain available: laptops and wireless microphones.
This initiative supports efforts to optimize resources and modernize services in line with Horizon 绿帽社.
Update concerning Workday and data security
听
Workday has informed us of a phishing campaign that targeted many large organizations, including Workday. This led to unauthorized access to one of their third-party platforms, Workday鈥檚 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. There is no indication that 绿帽社 employees鈥� personal information and HR related information stored in 绿帽社's Workday system were accessed during this incident.

Microsoft 365 license deactivation warnings

IT Services recently migrated many Webex softphone users to Teams Phone.
As a result, users may have received a message from Microsoft stating their license will be deactivated soon. (See screenshot above.) It is a legitimate message from Microsoft.
Do not use Read.AI for 绿帽社 purposes

We have received reports of a Read.AI bot attending or attempting to attend online meetings organized by 绿帽社 faculty and staff. The bot uses generative AI to create a text summarizing a meeting鈥檚 discussions and decisions; it then shares a link to that document with all participants.

The Classroom A/V Instructions application is moving to the Browse Classrooms widget on the 绿帽社 IT Support website on December 13th, 2024.听
Staff Directory decommissioned 鈥� Staff to update/review Workday information
As of January 31, 2025, 绿帽社 IT Services has decommissioned the 绿帽社 Staff Directory. This initiative aims to streamline processes, improve security against phishing attacks, and replace outdated technology.听听
Updates to MyCreds鈩�: Enhanced eTranscript and document Sharing for students!
We鈥檙e excited to share new features to听MyCredsTM, the platform accessed through the ES Services (Enrolment Services eStore听& MyCredsTM) in Minerva, that allows students to securely share documents such as electronic transcripts, custom letters, documents, and forms.听
